BSF recruitment 2017: 196 vacancies announced for male, female meritorious sportspersons, apply now

BSF recruitment 2017 sports quota: The Border Security Force has announced 196 vacancies for the recruitment of Male/Female constables (GD) under sports quota at bsf.nic.in. Candidates who are interested must apply before 31st October. The BSF has invited applications from Meritorious Sportsperson for these posts. The total number of male vacancies are 135 while for female it is 61. Under this recruitment drive, posts under discipline like Archery, Aquatic (Swimming, Diving and Water Polo), Basketball, Boxing, Equestrian, Gymnastics, Handball, Weightlifting and Kabaddi etc will be filled, as per the official notification. The BSF has also clarified that the vacancies are tentative and subject to change at any stage.

Here is how to apply for the BSF Male/Female Constable (GD) posts:

1. Visit the official website bsf.nic.in.
2. Download the prescribed application from the website.
3. After downloading, candidates must take a print out and fill the application form.
5. The application has to be sent by post.
4. The application must reach ” The Commandant. 32 BN BSF, Hisar, Post Office -Sirsa Road, District Hisar, Haryana- 125011.” before the last date.

Here is how selection will be done for BSF recruitment 2017 Male/Female Constable (GD) Vacancy under Sports Quota:

All eligible candidates whose application form is found to be in order will be issued admit card/call letter to appear in the requirement process i.e. trial. Candidates will have to undergo the following process of recruitment:-

1. Height Bar/Test
2. Identity Check
3. Checking of Testimoniatvdocuments.
4. Physical Standard Test
5. Trial in respective sports discipline.
6. Medical Examination

Here is pay scale band for BSF recruitment 2017 Male/Female Constable (GD) Vacancy under Sports Quota:

For all the candidates selected against the Sports Quota in BSF, they will be in the pay matrix level 3, index 1, i.e Rs 21700 and other allowances as admissible to Central Government Employees from time to time under the rule.
